Episode “23” starts with a hat tip to Michael Jordan (and his security guard chum, the late John Michael Wozniak), followed by a Bums ‘breeze by’ of baseball and basketball topics that run the gamut from Jose Abreu’s injury, unwritten rules in baseball, White Sox skipper TLR is approaching “too stupid to insult” territory, Kluber’s no-no, the short list of HOFers who played for the Dodgers, we’re so stupid that we didn’t realize there is no NBA HOF (it’s the Basketball HOF), nevertheless the Bums review Basketball HOF inductees, man crushing on NBA’s new play-in tourney (more of this), and end with Scumbag of the Week, with honors going to Dino Gaudio (former Louisville asst. coach catching embezzlement charges).
The flip side starts with a beer review from Old Irving Brewing, Things We Don’t Say (Hazy IPA, 6% ABV - Collaboration: Mental Health and Awareness), Eddie and Rocky hijack Paddy’s ‘I Did Not Know That’ segment, going on Simple Machine rant, headlined by Erector Sets from our childhood, The Red Robbin to BMI quotient in America, a quick review of Netflix’s Framing John Delorian quasi documentary, and Paddy share’s an interesting tidbit about Seth Rogan and his new house.
