Bums of Manarchy
3 knuckleheads in Chicago, talking shit. For fun. The “Bums of Manarchy” is a Chicago-based podcast, hosted by 3 friends. Our weekly format is recorded in two parts. The first half content is all about sports, and the second half is for everything else (beer reviews, life hacks, complaints, knowledge drops, geo-political issues, streaming show reviews, etc.). Sports in the front, party in the back. Give us a listen! We take listener requests seriously!
Bums of Manarchy
B.O.M. - Episode 0065 - Loose Change
The Bums first half kickoff for Episode 0065 begins with Paddy’s travelogue to the Big House in Ann Arbor, MI; talk turns to NFL week 3, as Mitch “Deer in headlights” Trubisky’s performance confirms what we already knew; the Steelers slow start, several NFL coaches may have saved their jobs; the Belichick legend grows tree roots; NCAA football weekly recap in review; the colorful character that was Douglas “Peahead” Walker; Rocky’s Wildcat’s emptying booster coffers for a new, smaller stadium in Evanston; NCCA’s Pac12 is on life support; before talk shifts to MLB as Albert Pujols and Aaron Judge did not disappoint in their respective race into the history books; and close as the Bums bid adieu to tennis great Roger Federer.
The second half kickoff ensues with an apropos beer review of Short's Brewing Company “Autumn Ale” (ABV 5.6%), a medium-bodied, true-to-style London Extra Special Bitter (ESB); Rocky has nothing but disdain for pocket change (no, seriously); Paddy cringes as a neighborhood millennial is driving a vintage Mercedes into the ground; a review of the Netflix 10-part TV series — “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”; a review of Apple+ TV series - “Slow Horses”; more Chicago problem solving ensues before closing with a teaser for ‘The Paddy Files: A Mississippi Mess’ thanks to scumbag Brett Favre and company. All of this and a bunch of cursing and ranting! Get some!
