The Bums return to the rail yard with S5:Episode 0129 — where NBA/NHL Finals blanked early discussion; OKC seems to be favored in either 5 or 6 games, while Edmonton attempts to topple the Florida Panthers on the frozen water pitch; shockingly and stupidly— Thibs gets the heave ho (run out of NY on a rail for reaching the post-season); the Chicago Fire steals home from the White Sox with their new stadium plan — funded privately by a billionaire who gets it; meanwhile, the Chicago Bears owners are playing footsie with public figures in hopes of squeezing blood from a turnip; in MLB news, the Marlins and Rockies vie for the shittiest start to their season since, well… the Chicago White Sox; meanwhile the Cubbies are flying high while Jerry Reinsdorf announced his plan to sell the under achieving White Sox by 2029 (mercifully); a few sound-bytes from the Bears mandatory mini-camp and close as the beleaguered CHSN sports channel plans it’s launch with Comcast cable (good fucking luck w/ that).

On the flop, another majestic beer review is executed flawlessly with Begyle Brewing’s “Begyle Blonde” (ABV 5.2%), and American Blonde ale brewed with a touch of honey — resulting in a clobber able creation that is ready for summer action; Paddy reviews the upper chunk of a very questionable list of the Top Breweries in Illinois; the Mayor of Clown  Town continues his circus show; Eddie reviews a Southside classic with another Chow Report installment; Paddy reviews must-see TV with Netflix’ Air Force Elite: Thunderbirds, as well as the real-life Zero Dark Thirty story (Search for OBL); conversely, low-marks were scored on Brett “Slimy Hillbilly” Favre’s documentary that chronicles his epic fall from fame; Paddy rants on a few items (not all of the Bums concur, but everyone is entitled to their opinion) before closing with weather report complaints.  Get a taste before tariffs affect quality and/or availability.
