The bums are back in the rail yard with S6:E0148 — Chicago sports news is limited (crickets are deafening); talk is relegated to the Winter Olympics in Italy, where the Canadian curlers appear guilty of an egregious foul at the hog line; Eileen Gu’s words smack somewhere between opportunism and traitorous; the USA hockey teams are golden in 3-on-3 OT; Mike Cronin is a pre-certified fucking lunatic; thoughts, prayers and great memories to former Cub Kris “Blue Eyes” Bryant; and close as the MLB Players Union is in a stand-off with ownership.
The flip-side starts with another infamous beer review, at the hands of River St. Joe Brewing Company’s “Farmhouse Pale Ale” (ABV 6.5%), a much improved experience and quality (tune-in for the deets); bon voyage to beloved American actor Robert “Tom Hagen” Duvall; an update ensues with Kalshi — the bet on anything and everything app; Scary Mary on the needle; and close with a simple pleasure courtesy of a local car wash.
